Katie Knight is the community engagement officer at Apple Federal Credit Union and responsible for driving the organization’s strategic community partnerships, volunteerism, philanthropic giving and business development. Under Katie’s leadership, the credit union has grown its volunteer impact and its expanded partnerships, resulting in numerous community awards to include the Northern Virginia Family Service CARE Award and the Communities of Trust Soaring Eagle Award. In her role, Katie leads the community engagement programs, initiatives and annual budget that support organizational goals and boost the credit union’s presence in the community.  In addition, she inspires employees to participate in both business development and volunteer efforts promoted by the credit union.

Katie earned an M.A. degree in Egyptology and a B.A. in anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University.  


In addition to her role at Apple, Katie is a board member for Keep Prince William Beautiful, member of the Communities of Trust Committee and attempts to keep up with her two kids.
